Claranormal on the Air 4 Days a Week

Hi folks! Yes, it's been much too long.
We have new members, coming, and if we have to spend 2 years combing the countryside for new members, we will!

One of the side effects of adding members is expansion of our ability to get things done. For example out internet radio show, which can be found at http://blogtalkradio.com/claranormal.
For a good long while we were on Tuesday and Fridays at 9 PM Pacific time with just general chit chat about the paranormal. We then branched out, including Thursdays at 9PM Pacific with a new show called "Ask Ovilus."

Ask Ovilus is a simple concept that is needlessly complicated when explaining it, so I'll truncate the explanation for you, the reader.

The theory is that people who've passed, spirits in other words, are no longer bound by matter nor three dimensions, and as such are free to travel through both time and space as they wish. People either call into the show (917-889-9432) to ask questions, or they ask them in the show's chat room. We then pass the question to the Paranormal PX, a much more advanced version of the original Ovilus, and which also contains elements of the Paranormal Puck. In theory a spirit will hear the question, travel to where the PX Ovilus is, and manipulate the machine into giving an answer. so far the jury is still out as to whether it's effective, and that's one of the reasons tthe show exists, to see if the machine does anything at all.

When we added more people, the idea struck that we should have a sort of 'girls night out' show, so I asked our lady members if they'd like to participate in this. A resounding yes was the answer. We toyed with days, times and all that, and it was finally decided that the Ask Ovilus would move to Wednesday's at 9 PM Pacific time, and Ghost Hunter Girls Gone Wild (one of the earlier titles that was nixed) would slide into the former Ask Ovilus time slot, Thursday's at 9 PM Pacific time. This show is now canceled.

The new show, formally known as Ghost Hunter Girls Live, Featuring the Ladies of Claranormal came in to being on October 28th, and is now canceled.

So there you have it, the latest updates, and there will some more news, big news, coming soon!

  1. LOVE YOUR --WORLDS FIRST-- "Ask Ovilus" --AN OVILUS HOSTING YOUR SHOW -- BRILLIANT!!! CONCEPTUALLY BRILLIANT IDEA. Only listened to two superb episodes but the ONLY thing letting the show down was keeping it permanently in its limited dictionary mode. Set your Ovilus free by letting it talk like a human in phonetic mode thus enabling it to answer your complex questions with its own fresh new complex in context language rather than fixed words! Love your pup and your buttons! A1 job! Thankyou! :) xxx

  2. Hello Anonymous, and thank you for your comments!
I do need to add to this post that I did not post the above comment. I'm sure some who read this will think I did in order to aggrandize myself or PX Ovilus in some way, but nope, I didn't write it.
I'm shameless when promoting others, especially our individual crew members and group, and others who are good friends, but promote myself or my ideas? Not so much.
I don't much like the limelight, though I will step into it when needed, given a choice I prefer to stay backstage. The Ovilus Show was my idea, a very cost and time effective way to do a show, and it would also serve the purpose of checking whether or not the machine actually did anything, and from what we were able to discern, it does not. We did try it on phonetic mode once, and it was a complete and utter disaster, for all it would say was an occasional "uh, ah" for an entire hour.
Here's an evolutionary descriptive of who the Ovilus show worked.
The first couple of shows we ran it sitting next to the host, and the results were ok, but there was a problem in that spirits are barred, banned from entering the host's space, that is, his home.
The next few shows we placed the Ovilus outside the home and ran it with the host's cell phone as it's method of talking to the audience. In other words, Ovilus phoned in it's performance. Still, at times there were problems, such as the PX Ovilus's tendency to pronounce words in a silly way. A couple of examples are "Enough" comes out "Emma," "Soldier" comes out "Songuyers."
Next we tried it for one show in the aforementioned phonetic mode, which resulted in grunts.
Back to dictionary mode for a show or two.
So, at this point we bought a cable which would enable us to hook the PX Ovilus to the computer, downloaded the PX program from digital dowsing, and brought Ovilus back indoors. This was great in that now we could ask it questions directly from the computer via the cable to PX, and no matter what we'd always see the answer typed out so we'd never again mistake what it said. The problem now was it was back indoors again, where spirits are not allowed to come.
Along this path PX's girlfriend, Ghost Radar, (the bf / gf thing is a running joke in our group), an app for smart phones and run by a group member, came into play, and it literally upstaged PX Ovilus, remarkably demonstrating Ovilus's ineffectiveness.
When I first discovered Ghost Radar I was completely enthralled with it, so I did research on it and overwhelmingly the reports were negative, this by actual scientists and others in the know. Still I believed the word function was amazing, but again, if the smart people say it's a joke, then no thank you.
Now that several months have passed and I have again researched the general consensus, I believe the Ghost Radar is a valuable tool only, like with the PX Ovilus, when it concise and contextual information.

  3. I have a PX and in no way would I call it ineffective! I don't use it for ghost hunting. I use it to communicate with those people living on the "other side." I get great relevant results. I think one of the difficulties of using the PX/ovilus in ghost hunting is that you are contacting spirits who are troubled by something that prevents them from seeing their way to the other side/heaven. If you will, you meets a class of people on the other side who are not stuck in some problematic situation here in this plane. These people who have made it to the other side are willing to talk to you, are friendly and helpful. If here on the earth plane you want to talk to people who might be cooperative you don't go to a mental hospital. You go to where the people are normal and helpful. Ghosts have their own problems.

  4. Hello Amy, and thank you for your comment!
Since entering that post I have talked to several other users of Ovilus's (Ovili?) and PX's, and I'm happy to report that we're going to keep on keeping on with our PX and Ovilus! My faith in both has been renewed!
PX is out of the penalty box, and back in business with us.
